Makes you appreciate what a beautiful country we live in!
Very beautiful
Deep ruts. Did it today very awkward and well washed, the bottom of the ruts was just flints
I did this today. It's not a bad little lane, I rode it a few times and cut a few brambles back.
Did it today on a 56 rigid triumph 500. Down hill, barbed wire to the right and leaning over too, overgrown to the left, sheep on the path! Trees cleared but plenty of hefty wood left on the ground that could catch you out. Ta for the video, at least I could spot the start. Nice lane great views!
I have a 1955 Ariel 500 that I green lane, we might bump into each other sometime.
This lane has been absolutely destroyed by 4x4 users. Not even safe for walkists or horses for fear of busting an ankle.
Noice 👍
In exactly the same condition today. Slippery at the bottom and boggy at the top but loads of fun.
A pleasant enough little lane but quite short.
The one at 1:20
Was it the grey one on the end....lol
Excellent !
It would have been better without the anxiety diesel
👍.
you had the weather for a nice ride out ;-)
Vengono cose scure in passato.
Kereta th 74 ,,,,,, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Can you believe you managed to fine a traffic jam on that fine public highway in the hills....
hope you had the wet tyres on....but some spectacular views matey...
Have you been there?
@@CharlieKMQ nope...and seeing the weather, i'd leave it to a summer visit...
Time to fit fog lights if you intend to continue adventures up in the fog...
Fitted led headlight couple of weeks ago
cant lie, this is perfect to fall asleep to, I was playing this last night
+2 for the correct playback speed.
Note to self. Do this one when its dry!
Nice! Organised ride out?
Not for me
Ah, the fresh water pit stop...time to fill those bottles up??
Time to stretch your legs...?
I see, snuck in behind someone who new where to go.....😜
there was only the choice of forward, or ....sideways...AAARRRGH
Now that looks nice..
Did you pay to be only one out on the road that day???....lol
It was better than the one under Hamburg 2 days later, massive traffic jam and about 35 degrees
A bit like North Dakota ....not much traffic to deal with ...lol
very expensive
Nice but for some scary views of the windy descent....👍
Charlie checking out a new delivery for the highest/remotest fuel station, not sure it looks suitable for an artic......maybe just ok for a rigid...😜😜
Hi Charlie, nice compilation of your next hobby.... If Laura will let you...lol 😂😂
Back in Iceland.....are you planning the canoe down that river.....brrrr be brisk....lol
This was last September, a lot of the rivers in Iceland have some massive drops on their routes, I'm not brave enough to try them.
Seems along way to go for a bacon sandwich, I'm sure Laura's would've been cold by the time you got back home...lol
Almost to close for that vid.....lol
Spoilt by the sound track!
Busy track....can see why you pulled over, the speed they were going out sure stirred up a dust. And only you could find a roundabout in the middle of nowhere....lol
Er...that's East Lock, isn't it?
quite possibly...
Hope you enjoyed it anyway - looks fun!
@@andyledger2307 great fun, easier than it looks apart from the last lock
Know one didn't capsized in the water it looks proper creepy?
It's only about 3 foot deep, you could walk through it if you don't mind the cold. Interesting rather than creepy!
Makes a change at a steady pace to take in the scenery ! Missed the Highland cattle that are often grazing there !
Thanks for the comment, I don't see the point in spending time to get to a byway then to do it in a couple of minutes!
where is this beggars lane?
the southernmost point is in Abinger Hammer on the A25 opposite Tillingbourne trout farm o.s grid ref TQ0922, 4767 and is steep uphill to o.s grid ref TQ 1003, 4908. The video goes downhill. Only open to narrow quads and motorcycles. Enjoy.
Im in a 4x4 so no good for me
Didn't see any apples at the cross?? Wouldn't fancy that ride in the winter months, the weather was kind to you n that day, any cross winds???...;-)
Nope, no winds on that side of the mountain, usually closed in winter, and its a lot steeper than the video makes it look
No beggars on that lane.......fine weather for some hill climbing....
+wraggi1 At least it was dry, slippery as hell in the wet!
What road?? and rain down that 'road' must of been heavy...well it helped put out that car fire;-)
+wraggi1 Looked a bit like Graham's old jeep
Sound out of breath love .........I thought the island was a wee one and no hills?
+wraggi1 Laura says "yeah, that's what he brochure said!"
Wrong date, forgot to reset it after swapping battery
You could of done a tidy up before showing the layout, did you really get in that hole in the ground??
+wraggi1 Went for a swim, water only just above freezing, nadgers snapped off, now speaking with a high voice...
Nice and quiet....and that pool (ha ha) looks so inviting.......
Getting close to needing a 4x4 again;-)
+wraggi1 Wouldn't dare - she who must be obeyed would kill me!!
